This article contains spoilers for Stranger Things Season 4 Vol. 1

Fans love Stranger Things for the horrifying monsters, fascinating Upside Down world, and the sweet friendships between the main characters. It could also be argued that the show is just as much a comedy as it is a science-fiction series. While the Demogorgon and The Mind Flayer and, in season 4, Vecna, are the main focus, the characters say hilarious quotes that fans love repeating.

Whether Eleven (Millie Bobby Brown) is penning a heartwarming letter or everyone's favorite character Erica Sinclair (Priah Ferguson) is telling a new character off, the first seven episodes of season 4 of Stranger Things have some awesome quotes.

Eleven Writes A Letter To Mike Wheeler

"Dear Mike, today is day 185. Feels more like ten years. Joyce says time is funny like that. Emotions can make it speed up or slow down."

Eleven has great Stranger Things quotes and in the season 4 premiere "The Hellfire Club," she writes her boyfriend Mike Wheeler (Finn Wolfhard) a letter and lets him know that she's really excited to see him when he visits for spring break. It has been really hard for the young couple to be apart as Eleven now lives in California and Mike is still in Hawkins, and Eleven lets Mike know that she really misses him.

Fans know that Eleven can't always figure out or regulate her emotions, which becomes a problem when she is bullied in her new town. This quote is significant because Eleven shares that she feels so strongly about wanting to be with Mike and finally see him again. Season 4 of Stranger Things has many strong moments, including following up on how Mike and Eleven are faring long-distance.

Erica Sinclair Stands Up To Eddie Munson

"We gonna do this, or are we gonna keep chit-chatting like this is your mommy's book club?"

Erica Sinclair (Priah Ferguson) joining the Hellfire Club in Stranger Things season 4

There are some huge moments in season 4 of Stranger Things and also some hilarious quotes, including this one from Lucas Sinclair's (Caleb McLaughlin) younger sister. Erica is so funny because she's so bold and always says what she wants to say, which can sometimes come off as brash but is always hilarious.

When new character Eddie Munson (Joseph Quinn) isn't sure that Erica is old enough to play Dungeons & Dragons, Erica quickly lets him know that she has skills and that he shouldn't underestimate her. By the time Erica says that she will play as Lady Applejack, Eddie is impressed.

Dustin Henderson Jokes Around With Steve Harrington

"You're just jealous because I have another older male friend."

After watching the first 8 minutes of Stranger Things season 4, fans could tell that this season is darker than ever, and the next few episodes definitely deliver on that. But the show also has the funny scenes that it's known for, including between good pals Dustin Henderson (Gaten Matarazzo) and Steve Harrington (Joe Kerry).

As a member of the Hellfire Club, Dustin looks up to Eddie, and before the wild supernatural stuff starts happening again in Hawkins, Dustin seems to be enjoying high school as he has found his nerdy place. Dustin tells Steve that he's envious of Eddie, which definitely bothers Steve, and this line is perfect and hilarious. Fans know that Steve still means a lot to Dustin, but it's natural to make new friends.

Mike Tells Dustin That Eleven Is Amazing

"You do realize El saved the world twice, right?"

Lucas is the star of the basketball team in season 4, something that causes some interesting tension with his best friends who want him to play Dungeons & Dragons and not focus on sports so much. Lucas lets them know that while they're still friends, he wants to be popular and have some fun. This is so relatable.

In the season 4 premiere, the characters watch Lucas's big game, and Mike talks to Dustin about the amazing things that Eleven accomplished when she still had her powers. Fans hope for answers in Stranger Things season 4, including why Eleven lost them and how she can get them back. Mike's quote is so sweet since it shows how much he cares about Eleven and how much she impresses him.

Dr. Owens Knows Eleven Is A Good Person

"I'm betting the fate of the planet that you're one of the good ones."

Stranger Things production still of Sam Owens

It's fun watching Paul Reiser, star of the '90s sitcom Mad About You and the '80s sci-fi film Aliens, play Dr. Sam Owens in Stranger Things. No one knows if he's actually good or evil at this point, so the last two episodes of the season will be interesting to watch.

In episode three called "The Monster and the Superhero," Dr. Owens asks Eleven if she wants to go with him to a silo to work on something called The Nina Project, and he says that Eleven is "one of the good ones." Since Eleven was just arrested for throwing a rollerskate in her bully Angela's (Elodie Grace Orkin) face, and the police didn't treat Eleven well, this suggests to Eleven that she could be safe.
